Description : Interactive session
Each lecture will focus on teaching the algorithm of use of imaging for every joint, from the basic radiograph evaluation – what can be extracted, what are the signs that cannot be missed; what can ultrasound add, and when to escalate to MRI. A lot of people do not feel comfortable looking at radiographs from children, and this is something they probably find at emergency departments. In a nutshell, the aim is to give attendants tips about where pathology occurs, how it looks like, which lesions are not accidental… around the different joints; because the real situation is that children come with “pain in…”
The idea is to have a systematic approach.

Description : Typical findings of myopathies will be addressed using interactive cases-discussion. You bring your own laptop and we provide you a PACS-like environment to have a look at each case before we will solve it together. The notion of pattern and the reasoning behind the diagnosis of muscle abnormalities on MRI will be discussed.
With a mixture of clear-cut and more challenging cases, the most common myopathies but also the main differential diagnoses will also be reviewed.

Description : Description & Programme
Anatomy is at the heart of the musculoskeletal radiologist's practice. This workshop aims to provide food for thought on anatomy as a tool for training and understanding musculoskeletal imaging and serving imaging research, and imaging as a tool for serving anatomy and biomechanical research. In this workshop, we will develop:
      - How to teach, learn, train and correlate with radiological anatomy on the body donor (Demondion X, Guenoun D, Creze M)
      - The relationship between imaging and musculoskeletal modeling (Vergari C)
      - The relationship between anatomy, imaging and soft tissue and bone biomechanics  (Vergari C, Guenoun D, Creze M)
